There are some simple, basic “rules of the road” in using a bulletin board, which you agree to at registration. Mechanically, grouping like comments is best accomplished by making sure you “open” the specific topic you want to add your remarks to BEFORE you click the “reply” link. Doing otherwise may result in your comments being added to yet an unrelated subject and the rest of us may miss seeing your point of view entirely. It’s not difficult to use nor to master, by following the links provided.
On the other hand, if you have a brand spankin’ new topic you’d like to start a discussion on, by all means, use the “new thread” link found under the “General Board”, accessed when you first open ProBoard and under which ALL forum subjects are listed. BTW: “editing” a post you make is permissible too. If, for example, you discover you forgot to add/delete something or you want to clarify a point, just use the link entitled, “modify”, found in the upper right area of your posting. You must be logged on to utilize this feature.
Most of us will likely check the very latest postings by clicking on the “10 most recent posts”. By all means use that link, found in the “Forum Statistics” section on the first page. If you then spot something that you’d like to respond to, as cited earlier, BEFORE you proceed, open THAT specific message by clicking on its title - found just to the right of the “Topic” in the upper left hand area of each of the 10 listed subjects. Happy Posting! Let’s get ‘er done…
